-
Have your document(s) ready: Before your notarization, your document should be filled out completely with no blank spaces (except for signature/date). The notary cannot legally provide, prepare or help you complete the document or offer legal advice. Please wait to sign until you are before the notary public.

Signer(s) must be present: All signers must be physically at the appointment, able to directly communicate with the notary without the use of interpreters, understand what they are signing and signing of their own free will.

-
Signer(s) must have current ID: An unexpired, government issued ID must be presented by all signers at the time of the appointment (must be an original, not a copy). The ID must have both a photo and a signature.
